Covet

You have been alone for so long.  Alone in life with no meaningful connections to anyone. You feel like you're barely even living.  That is, until you find Them.

You love Them. 
You worship Them.
You pray to Them.
Your life revolves around Them.

It's about time They finally acknowledged you.

Covet is a solo journaling game about desire, obsession, and the need for connection with another being.  It is also about loneliness, isolation, and trying to grapple with wanting something you can not have.  You'll play with a standard deck of cards, a 6 sided die, 10 tokens, a tumbling block tower, and the Icon of Your Love that you'll create as part of your set up.

As the player, you'll be taking the place of a person obsessed with someone over the internet.  Desperate to prove your love to this person, Your Love, you begin writing emails to them, begging Them to answer you.  

For a more realistic simulation, please send your emails to covetprayer@gmail.com. Your prayers may be heard, but there will never be an answer.

In the end, you'll never obtain Your Love, but will your obsession overcome you before you realize what you've become?
